Harkcon, Inc. is supporting Dept of Energy, National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), Office of Secure Transportation (OST) and is hiring a top-notch Program Manager to lead a team of approximately 20 administrative workers as they provide the following services: management and administrative support, project and budget analysis, document controls, federal payroll data entry, travel voucher processing, technical editing and writing, purchase request processing, and invoice tracking.
This important leadership position will find you in direct contact with federal government personnel and responsible for formulating and enforcing work standards; assigning contractor schedules; reviewing work discrepancies; supervising contractor personnel; and communicating policies, purposes, and goals to subordinates. Your team will be geographically dispersed and working at government facilities in NM, TN, TX, and AR.
You can expect to perform complex evaluations of existing procedures, processes, and techniques relating to management problems or contractual issues that require reports and recommended solutions.
Qualifications
- BA/BS
- 5 years of relevant exp (defined as: experience managing programs, projects, contracts, funds, staffing, customer interface, or resources of similar size, scope, and complexity)
- Experience providing guidance and direction to staff
- Experience in Federal agency (desired)
- Clearance: DOE L
This work will be done on-site at government facilities in Albuquerque, NM. Domestic travel may be required (NM, TN, TX, AR).
