Harkcon, Inc. is seeking an experienced Technical Writer to provide research and support services, and review specifications, documentations, and document changes. Meet with Subject Matter Experts to ensure topics are properly addressed and adjudicated during all phased of specification development, including copy and edit feedback from industry and team members. Prepare, review and revise and maintain technical documents relating to shipboard and marine use, including CDRL, specification, and SOW development and management. Analyze, interpret, and cross-check information to ensure accuracy. Develop, publish, amend, and maintain technical publications used to support the Coast Guard.

Key Responsibilities

• Expert knowledge of industry standard desktop publishing and word processing software. (Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat).
• Ability to independently prepare, review, and revise and maintain publication ready technical documents.
