Job Qualifications:

- Computer proficiency: Basic computer skills required. Experience with accounting software such as Intuit powered programs is preferred.

- Accounting knowledge: Basic understanding of accounting principles.
- Financial acumen: Experience with payroll, reconciliations, and financial reporting is preferred.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with payroll processing: Calculate employee wages, process payroll, and ensure accurate and timely distribution of paychecks.
- Maintain accurate financial records: Responsible for data entry, coding, and reconciling financial transactions to ensure accurate and up-to-date accounting records.
- Prepare financial reports: Compile and analyze financial data to generate accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements and balance sheets.
- Prepare and file tax returns: Compile financial data and prepare necessary forms for federal, state, and local tax filings.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online to maintain financial records and generate reports.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations: Adhere to all applicable financial reporting and regulatory requirements.
- Stay updated on accounting and tax regulations: Maintain knowledge of current accounting and tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
