Risk Management Assistant (Part-Time)

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform administrative duties to support the risk management department.
• Manage the Harkins' insurance email account and related correspondence.
• Assist with scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and taking meeting minutes as necessary.
• Request Certificate of Insurance ("COIs") from trade partners and / or their insurance agents on assigned projects to ensure timely compliance with contractual requirements.
• Update the risk management SharePoint site on a monthly basis.
• Assist with maintaining the risk administrator policies and procedures manual.
• Perform data cleanup in automated insurance verification system (i.e., TrustLayer).
• Assist risk administrators with trade partner payment holds and related communication.
• Perform employee automobile liability insurance reviews and assessments.
• Prepare and issue trade partners insurance compliance reports prior to each job review.
• Ability to interact and communicate professionally and ethically with Harkins' employee-owners, clients, trade partners, and other business partners.
• Attend required corporate meetings and training programs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned .

Base hourly rate : $18-$25 / hr (part-time)
