Harlan Community School District is seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary Special Education Teacher to join our team for the upcoming school year. Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Provide specialized instruction and support in alignment with students’ IEP goals

Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff

Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records

Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners
Qualifications:

Valid Iowa teaching license with appropriate Special Education endorsement(s)

Knowledge of current best practices in special education

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
