Role Summary
The Strategic Account Manager plays a critical role in driving business growth and profitability through the development and maintenance of key client relationships. This role requires a unique blend of business acumen, technical expertise, and exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
Main Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
- Develop and implement strategies to grow and maintain key client relationships.
- Sales Performance
- Meet assigned targets for sales volume and strategic objectives within accounts.
- Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis.
Requirements
- Education
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
- Experience
- Minimum 3 years of selling experience in the medical industry preferred.
- Skills
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
- Strong computer skills with competency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
- Detail-oriented, highly organized team player.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Self-starter and motivated individual who works independently.
Work Environment
This role requires extensive travel. Employee is required to use appropriate PPE including, but not limited to, nitrile or latex gloves, lab coat, hair bonnet, shoe covers, beard cover, safety glasses, hearing protection, face shield, or respiratory mask while working in a lab or manufacturing space.
