Job Role
The Strategic Account Manager is a critical member of the sales team, responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive business growth and profitability through the development and maintenance of key client relationships.
Main Responsibilities
- Client Acquisition and Retention
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
- Develop and implement strategies to grow and maintain key client relationships.
- Sales Performance
- Meet assigned targets for sales volume and strategic objectives within accounts.
- Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis.
- Solution Development
- Lead solution development efforts that best address customer needs.
- Support and/or perform other duties as required.
Requirements
- Education
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
- Experience
- Minimum 3 years of selling experience in the medical industry preferred.
- Skills
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
- Strong computer skills with competency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
- Detail-oriented, highly organized team player.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Self-starter and motivated individual who works independently.
Work Environment
This role requires extensive travel. Employee is required to use appropriate PPE including, but not limited to, nitrile or latex gloves, lab coat, hair bonnet, shoe covers, beard cover, safety glasses, hearing protection, face shield, or respiratory mask while working in a lab or manufacturing space.
