We are seeking an experienced Sales Department Manager to oversee the operations of our dealership. This key role will be responsible for managing sales personnel, ensuring revenue targets are met, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
**Key Responsibilities:**
**Customer Service:**
The successful candidate will be expected to provide prompt, dependable, high-quality vehicle sales to customers by using current pro-active feature benefit sales techniques. They will greet customers immediately, handle telephone transactions quickly, and ensure customers are properly qualified for needs, wants, and ability to buy.
**Management:**
The Sales Department Manager will maintain sales follow-up programs, develop promotional campaigns in conjunction with the parts and service departments, and maintain efficiency reports on sales representatives. They will also provide reports to the General Manager and Dealer Principal as requested, and develop monthly and annual objectives for the department in collaboration with these executives.
**Supervisory Responsibilities:**
The successful candidate will establish departmental work schedules, train sales representatives, set policies and procedures for the sales department, and manage employee performance. They will also maintain records of all employee performance reviews, disciplinary actions, job promotions, pay adjustments, and letters of recommendation within the HRIS management platform.

- Establish realistic forecasts and initiate inventory control systems.
- Become familiar and efficient with all phases of the computer system required for sales management.
- Maintain a balanced new unit inventory in proportion to sales.
- Establish procedures to ensure timely and proper completion of all paperwork.
