Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary team and contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and cooking equipment using commercial dishwashing machines or by hand as required.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, ensuring it is organized and free of clutter.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including peeling vegetables and preparing ingredients for cooking.
• Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Report any maintenance issues or broken equipment to the kitchen manager promptly.
• Support catering events by ensuring all necessary items are cleaned and ready for service.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or kitchen environments is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus.
• Experience in restaurants, hotels, or catering services will be beneficial.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration in the kitchen setting.

Pay: $9.00 - $10.00 per hour
