What You Will Do
- Provide technical support to internal and/or external staff in the industrialization of functional items in a multi-national environment
- Assist with Mechanic engineering in CAD, specifically CATIA
- Participate in ME part design and fabrication.
- Support concept ideas, brainstorming, and design review proces
- Create assembly documents to support installation of prototype parts
- Assist with 3D printing and post-processing of prototype parts
- Assisting in the realization of customer and Harman requirements into practical design.
- Technical support for the industrialization of functional items in a vehicle environment.
- Assist in the product testing and implementation in concept cars
- Work with cross-functional product development teams
- Participates in automotive & technology forums
- Conduct mechanical design of prototype parts in an automotive environment.
- Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree program at an accredited institution having completed your Freshman year or later, taking at least one class in the semester/quarter before participation in the internship program, and returning to school for at least one semester upon completion of the internship program
- Must have a cumulative 3.0 GPA
- Must have taken courses in Mechanical Engineering
- Must have skills in CAD engineering, CATIA preferred
- Must have strong oral and written communication skills and be able to confidently interact and present information to senior leaders and executives
- Must work collaboratively with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills in a global team environment
- Be willing to work in an office in Novi, MI
- Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment
- Must provide own housing and transportation to/from work
- Must possess unrestricted work authorization
- Must provide full work availability from May 19, 2025 through August 8, 2025 and be able to work 40 hours per week
