Quality Control Inspector - 1st shift! $19.00 hour

We are currently looking for a qualified Quality Inspector to inspect parts, assemblies and finished products according to drawings. Ensures quality finished product is shipped to the customer by ensuring quality checks are complete, accurate and signed-off. Final release of every build. Ensure only complete routers are turned into the quality assurance team.

This individual will be responsible for conducting all duties as described below as the Quality Control Inspector. This individual’s focus will be on maintaining and improving the quality systems to ensure quality product ships to the customer.

Requirements

• Conduct in-process inspections.
• Monitor and/or complete finished product inspections.
• Release product for shipment.
• Audit inspection paperwork for completion
• Verify production build schedule and final production build match
• Report gaps and issues discovered during audits and train teams as needed
• Record daily in-process inspection findings, non-conforming components and scrap components.
• Lead daily quality start up discussions with production team.
• Report gaps and issues caused by mismatch of documented work instructions, BOMs and work practices.
• Create and Updates of Quality inspection graphs, spreadsheets and other quality tools.
• Perform incoming inspections
• Perform first article inspections
• Understand the build/production process and be capable of building the assigned product
• Ensure work instructions are up to date at supplied at point of use.
• Provide input as to changes/updates needed to documentation
• Identify nonconforming product and ensure it is quarantined and controlled per sop
• Promote a culture of compliance and adherence to Harmar’s quality policy and SOPs.
• Provide training to plant resources on Quality procedures including at a minimum:
• Work instructions.
• Quality inspection sheets.
• Use of quality inspection equipment.
• Quality alerts.
• Nonconformance procedure.
• Limited lifting <70 lbs.
• Ability to stand for 8-10 hours/day.
• Work same hours as production team.
• Background in quality management systems (inspections, Audits) preferred.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Able to work 2 Fridays a month.

Requirements

Work Environment:

• Non-climate controlled warehouse.
• Be able to stand, lift, bend, and stoop.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.

Work Experience:

• 2 years of quality inspection experience in a fast-paced production environment.
• 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office products.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage time well.
• Detail oriented with organization and problem solving skills.
• Ability to effectively present information to a diverse audience (training),
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team setting.
• Knowledge of ISO quality management system document and record control requirements.
• Familiarity with FDA medical device regulations.

Education:

• High school diploma

Hours:

• 6:00 am - 4:30 pm (Mon.-Thurs.) with 1-2 Fridays per month.

Hourly Pay Range:

• $19.00
