Harmon Electric is seeking a motivated, reliable, clean cut Commercial Journeyman Electrician. We are GROWING…COMMERCIAL JOURNEYMAN ELECTRICIAN NEEDED

In the journeyman electrician role, you will perform electrical work and inspection on wiring, fixtures, outlets, and other electrical components. You will replace and repair electrical equipment and devices as required. You must maintain a deep understanding of building code regulations to check and ensure compliance with the highest standards of building design and construction. Success in this role will be demonstrated by employing effective process controls to ensure the reliability, safety, and efficient installation and maintenance of electrical systems.

A successful candidate will have the following skills:

• 5 years of commercial electrical experience
• strong conduit bending skills
• Ability to life and/or carry up to 50 lbs. unassisted
• experience doing underground conduit installation to include layout
• knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code)
• proper wiring means and methods
• Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull and reach over head
• Constantly moving on your feet
• Climb ladders (all types)
• identify, troubleshoot, terminate electrical circuits
• install panel boards, transformers and SES's
• able to follow guidance from lead person or foreman
• perform work in neat, workmanlike manner
• keep work area clean and clear of safety hazards
• ability to communicate effectively with co-workers
• able to follow all required safety protocols and procedures
• residential/hotel/apartment experience a plus
• willing to learn and to pass your knowledge on to others
• Ability to work 40 hours per week or more if required

PRIMARY FUNCIONS:

• Strong conduit bending skills
