WHAT YOU NEED
- Experience in a customer-facing position
- Basic math and computer skills
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions and move 50 lbs.
- Willingness to follow all safety standards, including wearing PPE
- High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge of metal grades would be preferred. Are you organized and detail-oriented? Can you think on your feet and quickly adjust strategies? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments? If so, we want you!
WHAT TO EXPECT
As a Non-Ferrous Material Kiosk Buyer, you welcome our customers and assist them with their scrap metal sales. You expertly grade and price our customers' materials while ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable laws. As needed, you validate identification and paperwork before offering our customers a fair deal for their metal.
You check our inventory every month as well as maintain a clean and organized work area. Carefully, you operate small material-handling equipment, such as a sit-down forklift and skid steer loader, along with handheld tools. You prepare materials for shipment and perform other tasks as needed to ensure a successful day.
