Essential Job Functions
Azure Services: In-depth knowledge of Azure services, including:
- Virtual Machines (VMs)
- Virtual Networks (VNets)
- Storage (Blobs, Files, Queues, Tables)
- Databases (Azure SQL Database, Cosmos DB)
- Active Directory (AAD)
Azure Portal: Familiarity with the Azure portal, including:
- Resource groups
- Subscriptions
- Resource providers
- Azure CLI and PowerShell
Security and Compliance: Understanding of Azure security features, including:
- Azure Active Directory (AAD)
- Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
- Network Security Groups (NSGs)
- Azure Firewall
Networking: Knowledge of Azure networking, including:
- Virtual Networks (VNets)
- Subnets
- Network Security Groups (NSGs)
- Azure Load Balancer
- Azure Application Gateway
Storage and Data: Familiarity with Azure storage options, including:
- Blob Storage
- File Storage
- Queue Storage
- Table Storage
- Data Lake Storage

Azure Resource Manager (ARM) or Terraform: Understanding ARM templates and deployment models.
Azure Automation: Familiarity with Azure Automation, including:

Required Certificate:

Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
