HARMONIA THE CLUB in Naples, FL is seeking caring, dedicated and attentive associates to join our team. We are devoted to helping our seniors to be safe in a home-like setting, and at the same time, caring for our families so that they can have some respite from the daily routine as a caregiver. This position will enjoy interacting with our senior members in newly completely remodeled, dynamic and energetic center that promotes health and wellbeing with personalized care and innovative methods approach. Furthermore, the appropriate candidates will enjoy working with our experienced and passionate team in assisting with members care, meals preparation, and activities. Training and caregiver’s experience working with senior population, excellent communication skills, flexibility/adaptability, ability to work independently, follow through with work assignments, and take initiative are required. The schedule is fluctuating based on staffing needs Monday through Friday between 9:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Maintains a clean, safe, enjoyable environment for our members.
- Assist Activity Director with activities. Help individuals, if needed, to participate in activities.
- Provide physical and emotional support to our members and caregivers.
- Supervise members when going to the bathroom, walking in the center, going outside.
- Provide personal hygiene care, if needed, after toileting members.
- Help prepare nutritious snacks and meals, assist in eating, if needed.
- Establish and maintain a pleasant and open rapport with the team and families/caregivers of our members.
- Complete training, orientation and on-going in-service education on the care of the elderly/handicapped individuals each year.
Basic Requirements:
Minimum High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Caregiver experience: min 1 year
CNA certificate (Preferred)
Current CPR and First Aid Training Certification (can be completed as part of the employment process)
Pre-Employment Process:
All employees must have state-mandated level 2 fingerprint background checks, current 2-step TB test, and a free from communicable disease statement signed by a physician (can be completed as part of employment process)
