They have recently crossed the $50m revenue mark and are aiming to reach $100m in the next two years. Having recently been acquired they now form part of a group of successful creative agencies but retain a real scale-up/ entrepreneurial environment with massive reach. They work with a long list of some of the world’s most exciting CPG, Tech, Beauty and Fashion brands.
The Role
Following the acquisition, The Director of Strategic Finance and FP&A will play a crucial role in building and developing key finance metrics and FP&A while delivering better insight and analytics to multiple areas of the business in order to drive performance.
Responsibilities:
- Own the development of exceptional financial modelling
- Improve and own the Forecasting and Budgeting processes (FP&A)
- Partner with Business Leads to ensure revenue pipelines are accurate
- Build KPI’s and analytics to make sense of complex data and present this to decision makers across the business
- Support the Client facing team with the review, presentation and approval of fee proposals
- Work with the CFO to produce mid and long term strategic planning
- Analyze performance identifying areas for growth
- Produce monthly Board Reporting with detailed commentary
- Business Partner with multiple teams in the business to challenge numbers and bring improved performance
- Work with the Accounting team to implement the development of processes and systems
- Develop a high performing team as the business scales (initially this is a sole contributor role)
What you need:
- Experience in FP&A and Strategic Finance in the Media Agency, Marketing Agency, Film & TV production or Music production space
- Excellent financial modelling skills
- Excited to work in a scale-up business
What we’d like to see:
- MBA or Investment Banking experience
- Passion for Media, Marketing, TV & Film or Music (Creative Industries)
Package: $160,000 - $200,000 Bonus Benefits Package
Location: NYC (3 days a week in office)
