The Role :
As the VP of Finance and Accounting, you will report directly to a seasoned CFO and be responsible for building and leading the Accounting and Controllership function. This role is key in establishing and implementing robust accounting processes and systems that will support the company during its significant growth phase.
Responsibilities :
- Design and implement accounting processes ensuring robust controls that comply with US GAAP.
- Lead and manage the monthly financial close process.
- Prepare detailed financial reports for various internal stakeholders and executives.
- Oversee year-end reporting and the annual audit process.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and manage tax filings.
- Implement software solutions to enhance efficiency in financial reporting.
- Establish processes for SEC reporting standards in preparation for IPO.
- Collaborate with HR on benefits and compensation accounting needs.
- Partner with R&D and Operations to refine procurement processes.
- Assist the CFO with accounting treatment for stock options and business valuation (409a).
- Support cash flow forecasting in collaboration with FP&A.
- Build and lead a high-performing finance team.

Salary : $220,000 - $320,000 bonus share options
