Role Description
We are looking for an Account Manager who is responsible for selling Harmonic’s VOS360 Ad SaaS solution to Media Customers that are streaming live video. The role initially focuses on Media customers in North America, but it can evolve and expand to include global responsibilities as well.
You will report to the Vice President, Sales, M&E / CP / OTT. You can be based anywhere in the US with proximity to major airports.
This position involves developing relationships with senior level Ad Ops / Digital Marketing executives and decision makers together with technical executives, promoting the use of Harmonic’s Digital Ad Insertion solutions that allow them to best monetize their video services for their business.
Harmonic introduced groundbreaking technology and innovation in this space and the account manager should use their relationships to introduce these innovative solutions to the prospective Media Companies and change the way live video and live sports is monetized today in OTT streaming.
Location
Remote – this position is 100% Remote anywhere in the US with proximity to major airports.
What you will be doing :
This is a complex solution sale position that requires that you :
- Actively hunt for new customers and business opportunities and work to break into new accounts.
- Understand, articulate, and document the business and technical needs of your customers in order to propose the appropriate Harmonic solution(s).
- Develop and implement sales opportunity plans in support of company goals and quota objectives.
- Effectively engage sales resources – technical pre-sales, solution & product management, program management, executive team and legal – to successfully close business by developing customer centric solutions based on the specific needs of the customer.
- Meet or exceed sales quota.
- Respond to RFI / RFPs, create proposals, develop ROI and TCO analysis.
- Effectively communicate product requirements from the field back into product management.
- Greater than 50% U.S. domestic travel and could include international travel as well.

Pay & Benefits
For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $120,000 - $150,000. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market, location and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process.
