The business operations team is dedicated to tackling high-priority initiatives to help run and grow Harmonic. In this role, you will tackle a wide variety of projects determined by the most pressing needs of the business. You may dig into winning new market segments, design new business systems and processes that help scale the company, help us recruit exceptional talent, or make sure the internal operations of the business are running smoothly. We are data-driven generalists who enjoy taking ambiguous high-impact problems, strategizing, and delivering tangible outcomes.

Full-Cycle Recruiting: Own the end-to-end hiring process for roles across Business and Engineering functions. This includes:
- Sourcing: Utilize tools like Harmonic and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to identify top talent. Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies to attract top talent from diverse backgrounds. Use sourcing tools like Gem for outreach and to analyze conversion rates / refine outreach strategies.
- Screening: Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidate qualifications, experience, and cultural fit, efficiently narrowing down the applicant pool for hiring managers.
- Candidate Management: Ensure a seamless and engaging experience for candidates at every stage of the hiring process. Coordinate scheduling and candidate communications.
- Data-Driven Decision-Making & Process Optimization: Continuously refine and enhance our recruitment processes, leveraging data-driven insights to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Utilize ATS systems like Greenhouse to track candidates and optimize pipeline efficiency.
- Assist with general office management and projects related to making sure the office is an inviting and collaborative place for employees.
- Manage relationships with vendors and building management, ensuring all office operations run smoothly. Serve as the onsite contact for maintenance visits, shipping, mailing, deliveries, and inventory management.
- Oversee the office supplies and snack program, ensuring they are well-stocked and organized.
- Plan and help execute engaging company-wide offsites and events, coordinating logistics, activities, and schedules to foster team building and enhance corporate culture.
- Support in-offices HR processes including assisting with employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Prepare quarterly board presentations and investor materials, reporting on SaaS metrics and focus areas across the company
- Help build and evolve our financial operations across areas like reporting, expense management, and accounts receivables
- Track key metrics that underpin how we communicate financial performance, allocate resources, and plan for growth
- Conduct in-depth market research, including competitive analysis and customer insights, to inform GTM strategy
- Work on cross-functional and enablement related projects across GTM e.g., help equip the sales and post-sales team with the collateral they need to be successful
- 1 years of experience in either consulting, banking, corporate strategy, or operations at a high-growth tech company
- BA/BS degree in a quantitative or operationally minded field
- High agency mindset - have a bias for action; take ownership of projects, navigate and resolve challenges, and drive tasks to completion with minimal guidance
- Outstanding executive-level verbal and written communication skills, including being comfortable communicating with slides and in long form (PRFAQ style)
- Experience in leveraging data to inform insights; highly analytical, and can understand and dissect data and run basic financial models
- Collaborative team-player, with a 'yes'-first mentality, willing to roll up your sleeves and pitch in on tasks, even if manual and tedious
- Based in NYC with the ability to come in to our our office in Nomad 4 days per week
- You shy away from sweating the details & executing and care more about strategy and vision type work. We believe that execution eats strategy for breakfast and execution can be improved via strong attention to detail and quick iteration cycles. This role is for someone obsessed with continuous improvement and a drive to learn. While some work will be strategic, some work will be manual and tedious.
- You have very strict work-life boundaries. While we don't regularly work weekends, we don't hesitate to when there's an urgent matter or short-lived opportunity. If you're looking for a strict 9-5, this isn't the role for you.
- You're eager to execute a specific set of skills or in a specific domain indefinitely. We value continuous improvement tremendously, and so doing the same thing with the same efficacy over time here constitutes stagnation.
