Key Responsibilities
Financial Accounting & Reporting
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations in accordance with internal procedures and relevant regulations.
Prepare and manage month-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements for multiple entities.
Perform balance sheet account reconciliations to maintain reliable and precise accounting records.
Team Supervision
Lead and mentor accounting staff, providing training and development opportunities.
Monitor team performance to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with company policies.
Payroll & HR Administration
Prepare and process payroll for all staff, ensuring adherence to labor laws and internal guidelines.
Update and maintain the HR system, including employee records, benefit enrollments, and time-off tracking.
Support HR activities by following up with government entities and managing compliance with relevant statutory requirements.
Strategic Planning & Analysis
Produce management accounts, budgets, and cash flow forecasts to inform strategic decision-making.
Evaluate complex financial information to generate insightful reports and recommendations.
Qualifications & Skills
Accounting & HR Experience
10 years of accounting experience, including full-cycle bookkeeping and month-end close.
3 years handling payroll and HR-related responsibilities (compliance, benefits administration, employee onboarding, etc.).
Technical Expertise
2 years of experience preparing management accounts, budgets, and cash flow forecasts.
Proficiency in computerized accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar).
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
Leadership & Communication
Proven track record of supervising staff with strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for management.
