Requirements
Key Responsibilities :
- Terminal Coordination : Secure appointments for empty terminations and manage import load-outs, including addressing any missed loads.
- Delivery Scheduling : Schedule deliveries with customers and coordinate drivers for efficient freight deliveries and terminal operations.
- Operations Support : Assist drivers with operational issues and maintain regular communication with customers regarding container status and updates.
- Tracking Management : Monitor container status at ports, updating tracking information in Excel and the Transportation Management System (TMS).
- Customer Service : Keep customers informed about freight details, delivery or pickup times, and special handling requests.
- Route Management : Plan and adjust pre-determined routes as necessary to accommodate changes.
- Documentation : Maintain accurate records of dispatched calls, driver routes, route changes, delivery, and pickup times.
- Administrative Support : Perform various duties and provide additional administrative support as needed to ensure smooth operations.
