Job Summary: As an Ocean Import Specialist, you will play a critical role in facilitating air and ocean import/export processes, ensuring timely clearance of imported goods, and providing excellent customer service. Job Summary: As an Ocean Import Specialist, you will play a critical role in facilitating air and ocean import/export processes, ensuring timely clearance of imported goods, and providing excellent customer service. You will work closely with our international teams to coordinate shipments, manage vendor relationships, and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
Key Accountabilities:
- Coordinate import and export activities, including communication with overseas agents and vendors.
- Ensure timely clearance of imported goods through customs brokerage.
- Manage and consolidate shipments as needed for efficient logistics operations.
- Research and select vendors/agents, arranging timely ground transportation delivery.
- Monitor and update delivery status, communicating information to relevant parties.
- Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and closing activities.
- Input service information into the internal system for accurate tracking.
- Prepare and report service activities to the Part/Team Manager(s).
- Provide excellent customer service, troubleshooting any issues that may arise.
- Fluent in Korean and English (speaking, reading, and writing).
- Excellent Excel skills (data analysis, reporting, etc.).
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in both team and independent settings.
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
