An exciting opportunity awaits an experienced HR Manager to lead and build the human resources function for a new business launching as a spin-off from a globally recognized manufacturer. This role is ideal for a hands-on HR professional who thrives in startup environments and is ready to design and implement HR systems from the ground up.
The selected candidate will begin with a 30-day training program at the affiliated organization before transitioning to the new entity in Anaheim, CA.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks specific to California labor laws
- Lead full-cycle recruitment, employee onboarding, and training initiatives
- Manage payroll, benefits administration, and employee relations
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and leadership team on all HR-related matters
- Foster a strong, inclusive, and multicultural workplace culture
- Support organizational growth through strategic HR planning and execution
Qualifications
- 5 years of progressive HR experience, with strong knowledge of California employment regulations
- Fluency in Korean (spoken and written) is required
- Multicultural or international work experience is highly preferred
- Proven ability to work independently and establish HR functions in a startup or high-growth environment
- Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Prior experience in setting up HR operations for a new business is a plus
