General Purpose
The purpose of this position is to ensure the quality, freshness and product assortment of fresh flowers is maintained at the Distribution Center and in the floral departments at the stores. This person will be working with growers and vendors to order fresh cut flowers, assisting with special orders, FTD orders and online orders, verifying correct floral order and invoices with the Floral Processor and providing exceptional customer service via phone and in the lobby.

Work is generally performed in a safe and comfortable store environment with the possibility of frequent exposure to cold, slippery and wet conditions. While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to grasp, push, pull, carry, stoop, twist, crouch, and reach; perform tasks requiring repetitive motion and eye, hand and foot coordination; hear and respond to customer inquiries. Also requires standing, walking and bending throughout the entire work day and the ability to maneuver heavy objects weighing up to 30 pounds from location to location.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Follows established departmental and store policies and procedures
- Ensures the quality and freshness of all fresh floral products and services provided by the Distribution Center and in-store floral departments
- Responsible for maintaining the appropriate product assortment and inventory levels for the Distribution Center and in-store floral departments
- Works with vendors and growers to order fresh cut flowers for the Distribution Center and our stores
- Assists stores with fulfilling special orders
- Assists with phone, online, FTD and in person orders
- Verifies orders and invoices with the Floral Processor and performs quality audits
- Orders office and other supplies for the Distribution Center lobby area
- Assists with quarterly inventory at the Distribution Center
- Ensures the Distribution Center lobby is cleaned daily and meets the company standards for appearance
- Delivers excellent customer service to all customers
- Completes assigned tasks efficiently and in a timely manner
- Sets a professional and positive example to others
- Assists as needed to ensure the success of the Distribution Center as a whole
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned

- Basic math skills
- Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of a wide variety of flowers, their seasonality and uses in floral design
- Must enjoy working with and handling floral products
- Should have a passion for customer service
- Ability to interpret policies and procedures
- Excellent organization and planning skills
- Must possess solid communication skills, including verbal and listening skills in order to effectively and efficiently communicate with diverse groups of people
- Must possess the ability to accept constructive review and be accountable for one's own success as well as the success of your team
