Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director to lead our organization in delivering exceptional care and services. This role requires a proactive approach to managing operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and fostering a culture of excellence within the team.
Duties
- Oversee daily operations and ensure high-quality patient care in accordance with established standards.
- Supervise nursing staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their professional development.
- Ensure compliance with resident rights and advocate for the needs of patients.
- Manage hospice care and other services, ensuring compassionate support for residents and families.
- Conduct documentation reviews to maintain accurate medical records and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans that meet the needs of residents.
- Lead initiatives to improve operational efficiency and quality of care within the organization.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices in nursing management.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in nursing administration or a related field.
- Strong supervisory skills with a focus on team development and leadership.
- Knowledge of resident rights and commitment to advocating for patient-centered care.
- Familiarity with documentation review processes and medical records management.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be a Virginia licensed LPN or above.
- Prefer someone with UAI and ISP certification
