Harmony Homes is seeking a compassionate individual to join our team as a Group Home 1:1 Caregiver. As a 1:1 caregiver, you will provide essential assistance to one client in his home, supporting his daily living activities and promoting his well-being. Your every other Sunday would commence on April 28, and the next one would be May 12. We do have other shifts you CAN fill in if you want.
Responsibilities:
- Assist client with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, and toileting
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to his dietary needs, and assist with feeding as needed
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Provide companionship and emotional support to client
- Help with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
Skills:
- Experience working with individuals with Parkinson's, Developmental Disabilities or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of CPR procedure and medication administration
- Ability to lift and transfer clients safely using proper body mechanics
- Proficiency in assisting with mobility systems like walkers or wheelchairs
- Play games, make crafts, and keep client stimulated with things HE enjoys
-Reliable vehicle, insurance and current driver's license to transport client in your vehicle. (Reimbursed .63 per mile).
-Energy-This is an 8am to 8pm shift, and can be long. You must be energetic and fun!

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
