Overview
The Clinical Director plays a pivotal role in overseeing the clinical operations of our healthcare facility. The Clinical Director will be responsible for managing clinical staff, implementing policies, and enhancing the overall effectiveness of our medical services.
Qualifications
- Licensure:
- Must hold and maintain an active, independent clinical license in the state of New Mexico (e.g., LPCC, LCSW, LMFT).
- Must have 2 years supervisory experience
- Education:
Master’s degree or higher in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or a related field.
- Experience:
- A minimum of one year of supervisory experience in a clinical setting.
- At least three years of experience providing behavioral health services, preferably in an outpatient or intensive outpatient program.
- Knowledge & Skills:
- Strong understanding of evidence-based practices in behavioral health.
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing IOPs.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Duties
- Oversee daily clinical operations to ensure optimal patient care and service delivery.
- Manage and mentor clinical staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Ensure compliance with JCAHO standards and other regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to enhance patient safety and care quality.
- Collaborate with medical management teams to align clinical practices with organizational goals.
- Monitor performance metrics and implement strategies for continuous improvement in clinical services.
- Conduct regular training sessions for staff on best practices in healthcare management.
- Serve as a liaison between administrative and clinical departments to facilitate effective communication.
