What are the responsibilities and job description for the Instrumentation and Controls Engineer position at Harmony Plus LLC?
We are looking for an experienced Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to design, test, develop, install, and maintain automated control systems within water and wastewater treatment processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee systems that monitor and control vital operational indicators (flow, temperature, pressure).
- Test, program, install, and maintain systems to optimize efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with technicians for system calibration and troubleshooting (on-site and remotely).
- Develop and update I&C procedures, standards, and practices to stay ahead of technological advancements.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's in Engineering or related field (Master’s a plus).
- Certifications: PE, PMP, DBIA, CCM (preferred).
- Experience:
- 10 years in designing, programming, and maintaining control systems in water treatment plants.
- 5 years in developing/modifying I&C procedures.
- Expertise in SCADA, HMI software (Ignition, VTScada, Wonderware, iFix), and PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Modicon).
