First Impressions:
- Maintain building readiness by adhering to Harmony Senior Services Way, including daily tour route preparation
- Develop model rooms according to established protocols
- Train staff on achieving excellent first impressions with residents, families, and prospects, including telephone etiquette
- Develop quarterly marketing plans in collaboration with the marketing team, ensuring compliance with corporate standards
- Complete all marketing reports in a timely manner
- Lead internal marketing meetings
- Manage inquiries personally when in the building
- Provide staff training for inquiry handling via phone and in person, following corporate guidelines
- Ensure adequate bench strength and leadership availability for inquiries and tours during the absence of the Sales and Marketing Director
- Offer customer service training as part of new hire orientation and annually to all staff
- Promote sales enhancements as appropriate
- Respond to Mystery Shopping Program feedback to enhance inquiry handling
- Use lead tracking systems to document all prospect contacts
- Respond to inquiries within one business day or before close of business each day
- Identify needs, barriers, and next steps for each inquiry
- Generate required reports related to marketing activity using lead tracking systems
- Conduct external marketing calls according to the corporate schedule and census needs
- Enter calls into lead tracking systems
- Follow up on all external calls
- Host community events according to predetermined schedules
- Establish, promote, and work with senior care support groups
- Promote the community as a meeting space for local groups
- Foster community relationships through participation in networking groups at least once weekly
- Serve as an educational spokesperson on aging and health issues
- Develop resident referrals through incentives and housewarming parties
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Three years' experience working as a marketing director in senior care
- Demonstrated ability to build a census
- Ability to analyze data and develop and implement a marketing plan
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask and complete projects on time
- Ability to establish relationships and connections with prospective clients, their families, employees, community resource groups, and management teams
- Strong oral and written communication skills and proficiency in computer programs
- Able to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, which may include evenings and weekends
- Able to lift, carry, and push up to 25lbs
