Job Overview - Senior Maintenance Technician:
This is a hands-on training program designed to prepare an individual for a Maintenance Manager position with Harmony. The ideal candidate will have expertise in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance strategies, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities - Senior Maintenance Technician:
- Assist in overseeing maintenance operations, ensuring machinery and equipment run efficiently.
- Learn and apply preventive maintenance procedures to minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Collaborate with production teams to maintain optimal equipment performance.
- Support and lead a team of maintenance technicians as you progress in training.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Maintain records of maintenance schedules, repairs, and inventory.
- Maintain auxiliary equipment, including mold temperature controllers, material dryers, compressors, conveyors, and material loaders.
- Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant’s equipment.
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments.
- Perform simple machinist skills.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment.
- Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report issues to proper supervision.
- Hands-on operation and maintenance of automated molding equipment.
- Monitor and perform setting adjustments.
- Establish and foster Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), ISO, and safety requirements.
Qualifications - Senior Maintenance Technician:
- 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, or a related field.
- Technical degree or certifications in maintenance, electrical, or mechanical systems preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn quickly.
- Basic knowledge of PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems is a plus.
- Leadership potential and a desire to grow into a management role.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
