Job Description
As a Medical Assistant, you will partner with a Provider to bring primary-care services to patients who need and deserve access to personalized care at home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support patient care through clinical partnership with nurse practitioners, physicians, and clinical teams.
- Drive company cars to scheduled patient visits.
- Prepare patients for examination and treatment.
- Secure patient consent forms and document patient care accurately.
- Coordinate patient care as directed by physicians and company policies.
- Respect patient confidentiality and provide courteous service.
Requirements:
- High school graduate or GED equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record.
- Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program or desire and ability to obtain certification within 180 days of hire.
- Current BLS certification at time of hire or within 30 days of hire.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Basic computer literacy, including EMR, iPad, and GPS experience.
- Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
