Nursing Care Requirements
The Registered Nurse will provide intermittent skilled nursing services, directing, supervising, and instructing hospice aide staff in personal patient care. The RN will assess and evaluate patient needs, identify mutually agreed upon goals for care planning, and report patient status, updates, and discharge planning to clinical leadership, attending physicians, and hospice physicians.
Qualifications and Skills
- Current unencumbered registered nurse licensure in the state of practice or in accordance with the Board of Nurse Examiners rules for Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
- Maintain a valid driver's license and good driving record
- Ability to work in a field setting and make sound nursing judgments
- Assess patient needs and formulate individualized patient care plans
- Experience with Microsoft Office
