Responsibilities
The Specialty Programs Coordinator, Operations is primarily responsible for organizing, maintaining, and updating health plan collateral. This position will also support additional Specialty Program operations such as Provider payroll and other administrative roles.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Enters and maintains Provider bi-weekly payroll
- Records voice messages by project to load into phone and scheduling platforms
- Updating and maintaining member facing lab instructions
- Customizes health plan approved Talking Points for loading into appropriate platforms for successful campaigns
- Maintains health plan call-in phone numbers by project and line of business
- Manages marketing/collateral material
- Works with print vendor to create proofs for each project and order approved collateral
- Collaborates with IT and print vendor to automate the processes for mailing Member Summary letters, lab results, and Provider Summaries
- Works with EHR vendor to enhance/improve the Member Summary and Provider summary outputs
- Assists with the administrative duties of the department and provides operational support to Specialty Programs
- Provides staffing support to Call Center by calling members and scheduling appointments, as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
REQUIRED Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- High school diploma/GED required
- 1 year(s) experience in office management, call center, or an administrative role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a high-volume call center environment
- Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize work assignments to meet department deadlines
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience in a medical office, call center, or other healthcare setting preferred
- Proven, positive interactions with medical professionals and experience in scheduling patient appointments
