Dakota Oil is the lubricants division of Harms Oil Company distributing motor oil, additives, and other aftermarket products throughout the five-state region. We specialize in finding the right product for our customers’ needs, providing technical support and service excellence to commercial, industrial, and agricultural end users.
Position Summary:
This position has responsibility for all Bulk and Package warehouse operations of Dakota Oil. The Warehouse Associate ensures accurate and proper inventory levels and documentation. This position is also responsible for providing friendly customer service support to phone, lubricant deliveries and walk-in customers.
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Maintain accurate inventory reporting for all products in the warehouse. Perform monthly counts and compare with inventory reports. Address and resolve all discrepancies by researching orders and invoices.
- Stage and load vehicles to optimize deliveries for a given route. Review tickets and paperwork to ensure accurate order filling and elimination of duplicates.
- Provide customer service to Dakota Oil walk-in customers. Deliver bulk and package products as needed.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to ten pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to fifty pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than one hundred pounds.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- High school diploma or equivalent; three to five years experience in a warehouse environment preferred but not necessary.
- CDL/Class A/Hazmat License preferred.
- Ability to multi-task with conflicting priorities in a pressured environment while still maintaining a customer-oriented demeanor.
- Self-directed, and able to prioritize and meet deadlines with professional, quality results.
- Proven organizational skills and attention to detail, including the ability to effectively handle multiple, concurrent priorities.
- Computer skills, with knowledge of basic office systems.
