Position Summary
This role is responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing business systems and technology solutions to support the accounting functions. This role collaborates with key business stakeholders, IT teams, and cross-functional business units to enhance systems, improve reporting capabilities, and ensure system integrity. The ideal candidate will understand and own all accounting processes associated with quote to cash, procure to pay, as well as record to report functionality. You will provide structure and leadership to projects, provide guidance on best practices and standard functionality, process automation, and understand business requirements and translate needs into technical solutions.
About the role
- Partner with business stakeholders to analyze business processes and system needs.
- Manage and optimize key business applications, such Netsuite, Stripe, Expensify, Navan, Zip.
- Gather requirements, design solutions, and implement system enhancements to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Develop and maintain system integrations between platforms (e.g., Q2C, billing, P2P).
- Automate workflows to reduce manual effort and enhance data integrity.
- Conduct data analysis and generate reports to provide insights into system usage and business performance.
- Ensure data accuracy, governance, and compliance across business systems.
- Provide day-to-day administration and maintenance of critical business systems including NetSuite & Stripe.
- Triage and resolve production support issues and implementing enhancement requests.
- Train end users and create documentation to support adoption and best practices.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements.
About you
- 5-8 years of experience in business systems analysis or other similar roles within a B2B SaaS organization.
- Strong functional and best practices knowledge in ERP, QTC, P2P and R2R space
- Experience with AR/GL/revenue accounting, order and contract management, billing, financial consolidation and reporting, and month/quarter/year end close.
- Prior experience with NetSuite and integration with CRM (Salesforce), NetSuite ARM, billing solutions (ex: Salesforce Billing, NetSuite or Zone Billing).
- Prior experience with Stripe or equivalent payment processing platforms.
- Strong understanding of system integrations and data workflows (e.g., APIs, middleware, ETL processes).
- Experience with process automation tools (e.g., Zapier, Workato, Tray.io) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Experience with SQL, reporting tools, or data visualization (Tableau, Looker) is a plus.
