While they already have a data platform in place, they are embarking on a cutting-edge transformation to elevate their machine learning and data science capabilities across the organization!
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Grow the data, generative AI and machine learning teams from scratch
- Strategic leadership over data infrastructure and machine learning models for recommendation and personalization engines, understanding real-time temperament of players
- Own initiatives to discover trends and patterns in the gaming industry
- Lead the company's data and machine learning strategy
- Partner with cross-functional departments and C-suite stakeholders (engineering, product, marketing, advertising)
- Oversee ML and Generative AI projects from end-to-end
- Serve as a subject matter expert for the business and interact with stakeholders
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- MS or PhD degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or STEM field
- 15 years of commercial experience within AdTech/MarTech, specifically with experience building real-time decision-making platforms i.e. recommenders or personalization
- History of managing machine learning projects end-to-end; experience with Generative AI projects preferred
- Fluent in partnering with non-technical stakeholders
- Experienced with Python (particularly statistical packages), TensorFlow, PyTorch or Keras
- Track record of leading revenue-impactful projects
- Experience managing and growing diverse data teams (engineering, analytics, data science, machine learning)
- Fluent in understanding customer / consumer data
- Ability to show examples of outside-the-box thinking
- Comfortable in autonomous and collaborative settings
