Known for their innovative approach to community building and wellness, this company is looking for a talented Director of Social Media to lead their social media strategy and engagement efforts.
Role Overview
The Director of Social Media will shape the company’s paid and organic social media strategies, driving cultural relevance, community engagement, and brand resonance. Reporting to the VP of Brand Marketing, this individual will rebuild and lead a dynamic social media team, collaborating with internal cross-functional partners and external agencies to deliver impactful social campaigns that meet ambitious annual goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute innovative paid and organic social media strategies to elevate brand awareness and engagement.
- Lead, mentor, and grow the social media team, including Social Media Managers and Content Creators.
- Create content and engagement strategies that resonate with diverse audiences and strengthen the brand's cultural relevance.
- Oversee partnerships with external agencies and ensure alignment with internal brand objectives.
- Utilize data and analytics to assess campaign effectiveness, optimize performance, and inform future strategies.
- Manage budgets, resources, and timelines effectively.
- Represent the organization at major events, including industry-leading social media and brand activation events.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 9 years of experience developing and executing social media strategies that increased brand awareness and cultural relevance.
- Proven success in building and managing high-performing social media teams; experience leading cross-functional partnerships.
- Strong ability to interpret data, craft actionable insights, and effectively communicate strategies across all levels of management.
- Proficiency in leading social media platforms; experience with Sprinklr is a plus.
