THE COMPANY
Our client is a frontier AI research organization. Having just received a high-seven-figure round of seed funding, they're in search of a head of Machine Learning to lead their internal AI function. With the ultimate goal of making LLM technology cheaper and more accessible for all, this company is set to lead the next artificial intelligence revolution.
THE ROLE
You'll serve as the founding head of Artificial Intelligence. You'll work directly with the co-founders of the company and will own applied ML research in reinforcement learning/LLM technology. You'll be building frontier AI technologies from scratch and will create feedback loops for LLM technologies that lead to real-world outcomes.
WHO YOU ARE
- You have experience as a tech lead for novel LLM/reinforcement learning projects, with extensive experience building from scratch.
- PhD preferred, but not required
- You've served as an active contributor to open-sourced AI projects in the past.
- You thrive in a dynamic, frontier-style AI research role
- You're excited about the prospect of driving the next wave of AI innovation
WHAT WE OFFER
- 245,000 - 260,000 USD/YR
