PRINCIPAL PLATFORM ARCHITECT
HOUSTON, TEXAS (4 Days in Office / 1 work from home)
$170,000 - $195,000 BONUS BENEFITS
This automotive/retail company is seeking a Platform Architect to support the core enterprise data and machine learning platform. This role will primarily involve work around the ML/AI platform. If you have a strong background in software engineering, data architecture, and experience with designing and building automated processes, this could be the position for you.
ROLE OVERVIEW:
- Design and build automated processes and manage complex problems to efficiently solve business problems
- Create a link between the business and technology sectors
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the creation and evolution of a data and ML platform for the whole company
- Develop solutions roadmaps for technology platforms
- Stay up to date with the newest and up-to-date architectural patterns
- Build and maintain a data platform with high automation across the business
- Handle customer data with proper policies and procedures
- Assess DevSecOps value streams and identify emerging automation techniques to improve ML Ops
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Strong expertise in Databricks (preferred) or similar tools like Snowflake.
- Advanced knowledge of Python, YAML/Terraform, Microservices Architecture, and object-oriented principles.
- Extensive experience architecting applications in AWS/Azure, designing CI/CD pipelines, and working with API Management platforms.
- Proven ability to develop solution roadmaps, implement automation frameworks, and guide tool selection.
- Proven passion and desire to get into ML/AI work
