The role
As a Senior Data Engineer, your main responsibility will be to take ownership of the database management and architecture. You will also be responsible for creating and optimizing ETL pipelines, managing data integrations, and ensuring data governance and security and you will work closely with the team to support the teams machine learning initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- You will be focused on transitioning the teams work in DBT
- Longer term you will be involved in a build out of the permission system.
- You will have the opportunity to partner with external firms on the Machine Learning side, adapting the scope based on client needs.
- Build new ETL pipelines or optimize existing ones to eliminate bottlenecks in quantitative and qualitative data.
Must have skills to succeed in the role
