General Job Description :
Perform kitting (pulling of parts) for all jobs
Provide assistance with material handling and physical counts of incoming materials
Perform cycle counts of inventoried items and work in process
Provide assistance with material handling improvement efforts
This position will require some interaction with other departments in support of operations
Requirements : Education :
High school diploma
Experience & Other Requirements :
Ability to work independently and as a team to prioritize work assignments
Ability to make sound judgments with stockroom related issues
Basic computer skills, capable of using computer inventory features of an MRP system
Familiarity with material handling in a manufacturing environment
Possess excellent attention and respect for detail
Possess good oral communication skills
Predictable and reliable attendance is required
Physical Requirements :
Standing and walking for a majority of the work day
Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs on occasion
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
