Days / evenings / weekends depending upon course schedule.
Job Description :
Prepare students for a career in the HVAC / R industry. Candidates should be well-versed and qualified to teach HVA 200 Mechanical Codes and Standards; HVA 203 Load Calculations; HVA 204 Air Distribution and / or HVA 205 Customer Service and Support, based on the approved ICCB and Harper College HVA Program course outline curriculum.
Qualifications
Education Requirements :
Bachelor of Science degree, Master of Science preferred, OR six (6) years of experience in the field and / or teaching with a minimum of four years in the field, using tools hands-on to repair or install HVAC equipment. Bilingual is a plus.
Experience Requirements :
Must be an effective, enthusiastic teacher committed to teaching HVAC skills in an Open Entry format at the community college level.
