What are the responsibilities and job description for the County Appraiser position at Harper County, KS?
The Harper County Board of County Commissioners is accepting applications for County Appraiser. Job responsibilities include administrative and supervisory work in the County Appraiser’s Office as well as the annual valuation of all real and personal property within the county.
Requirements include:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience;
- CAE, RES, RMA or General Certification from the Kansas Real Estate Appraisal Board;
- Three (3) years of appraisal experience, including experience in the mass appraisal of real property;
- Applicants must be qualified by the Director of Property Valuation as an eligible County Appraiser, and meet all other Kansas Statutory requirements
The established rate for this position is $51,160.00 - $80,000.00. Actual rate of pay will be negotiated based on experience.
