Healthcare Architect/Medical Planner
Role Overview:
A dynamic design studio is seeking a talented individual to join its team in a Healthcare Architect / Medical Planner role. This position can be based in either New York City or Philadelphia and offers the opportunity to contribute to a growing portfolio of healthcare and related projects.
The studio is looking for creative and motivated professionals who bring fresh ideas and innovative design solutions to enhance its healthcare architecture and planning team.
This role provides the chance to work within an integrated design environment where technical architects, interior designers, medical planners, and clinical consultants collaborate from concept through construction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the design and planning of hospitals and clinics
- Work closely with clients to define objectives and develop viable solutions
- Participate in Clinical User Group meetings and client presentations
- Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and project managers throughout all project phases
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience in medical architecture and planning for healthcare facilities
- Strong interest in healthcare design innovation, strategic planning, and master planning
- Experience in coordinating and leading client presentations and user group meetings
- Ability to collaborate with internal medical planning and design teams as well as external consultants
- Comprehensive understanding of the healthcare design process from concept to construction
- Proficiency in Revit
- Excellent written, verbal, and graphic communication skills
- A proactive, independent approach with strong ownership of assigned tasks
Salary : $100,000 - $160,000
