We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to lead our team in designing and delivering electrical engineering projects from conception to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage electrical engineering projects independently, ensuring timely completion and client satisfaction.
- Visit client sites to assess project needs, develop scope estimates, and design electrical systems for commercial and industrial buildings.
- Design power distribution, interior/exterior lighting, fire alarms, generators, and HVAC power systems that meet code compliance and industry standards.
- Mentor and work with a team of electrical engineers while collaborating with mechanical, architectural, and construction teams.
- Ensure designs meet all relevant codes and standards, and sign off on drawings as a licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
- Assist in transitioning department leadership over time, providing guidance and support to colleagues.
Qualifications
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) – required.
- At least 25 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer within an AE/ACE firm.
- Strong background in electrical design for commercial and industrial buildings, including power systems, fire alarms, and HVAC power.
- Ability to take ownership of projects, manage client expectations, and deliver high-quality designs.
- Experience with EV charging infrastructure and CCTV systems is a plus.
