Harper Harrison is partnered with one of the most exciting full service Civil and Structural consulting engineering firms, focused on providing innovative solutions for their clients. They have vast experience in developing customized structural systems that meet design requirements for new facilities and expansions. They are in need of a Structural Design Engineer.
Your New Role
As a Structural engineer, you will utilize computer design and graphics software to complete project Construction Documents. In addition to that, study and apply building code, material code and/or jurisdictional requirements to complete project design calculations under the supervision of the Project Manager. This role has huge growth potential and a chance to really make a difference in the communities they serve.
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an engineering curriculum in Architectural, Civil, Structural, or related engineering field.
- Has passed FE OR SE Examination
- 4-8 years’ experience as Structural Engineer
- Working knowledge of building and material design codes
- Experience using computer design and graphics software for building structural design and documentation (AutoDesk REVIT, RAM, SAP, ETABS, RISA, etc.)
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong written and interpersonal communication skills with a commitment to client service and a team-based approach
- Construction field experience
- Experience programming in Grasshopper, Python, Dynamo, SQL, C#, C , VBA
Location: Kansas City, Missouri (Hybrid)
Salary: $95,000 - $105,000 benefits 401k healthcare dental etc...
