Job Description: 2nd Shift Paint Prep | Painter

Position Qualifications:
- Ability to stand the majority of the day
- Must be detail oriented and process orders with accuracy
- Ability to read, comprehend, and follow instructions
- Great communication skills
- Ability to assess priorities in a time sensitive environment
- Work independently and take initiative with minimal supervision
- Ability to operate a forklift and obtain Harper Industries certifications
- Operate machinery safely and efficiently
- May involve repetitive motions
- Ability to engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing ad pulling of parts and part containers
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
Job Responsibilities:
- Apply the proper thickness of paint to maintain expected quality finish
- Clean and maintain paint guns daily
- Assist in changing filters routinely
- Keep a clean workplace
- Blow off paint carts prior to painting
- Prep flatbeds for gatorhyding
- Gatoryhyde flatbeds
- Maintain paint kitchen duties
- Wash carts in the wash bay
- Assist in loading and unloading parts on paint cart
- Prepare parts and whole goods for paint
- Perform other duties as assigned
Schedule/Salary
- 40 hour work week
- Overtime with pre-approval by supervisor
- Some Saturday work required
Reports to:
- 3rd Shift Foreman and indirectly to the Paint Supervisor
