Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a "Front Desk/Accounting Assistant" at Harper's Air, Inc. The role involves managing financial statements, managing incoming phone calls and inquiries, providing excellent customer service and directing calls to the appropriate departments, utilizing accounting software, conducting accounting tasks, handling finance-related duties, and performing bookkeeping responsibilities in the office located in Miami, FL.
Responsibilities:
- Process invoices, daily transactions, and expenses.
- Provide administrative support functions.
- Update and maintain the accounting database with data entry and reports.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports.
- Manage day-to-day accounting duties, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and payroll.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Support audit preparations and compliance documentation.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes.
- Accountable for picking up the phone calls, and greeting all of our new clients/existing clients with a positive and outgoing attitude.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is preferred but not required. Equivalent professional experience in a similar role will also be considered.
- 3-5 years of experience in accounting or a similar role.
- 3-5 years with proficiency in accounting software (Specifically QuickBooks.)
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance is a plus.
Compensation:
Pay is commensurate with skill and experience, a rate reflecting your strengths and career stance.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
