**Overview:**
We are seeking an experienced, skilled & creative Chef to join our hospitality management team. The ideal candidate will have experience in high-volume kitchen management, food production, retail/grab-n-go, event and restaurant operations. We have a skilled, tenured culinary team and we're looking for a dynamic leader to help us take our brand new, state-of-the-art, climate-controlled kitchen to the next level!
**Duties:**
- Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen
- Plan and create menus that meet quality standards
- Manage inventory and control food costs
- Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
- Train, motivate and supervise kitchen staff (with assistance of Sous/Kitchen Manager)
- Track & manage kitchen labor cost
- Assist in restaurant management tasks as needed
**Skills:**
- Proven experience in kitchen management and food service
- Menu development with seasonal variations
- Strong knowledge of inventory control and management
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to handle food safely and hygienically
- Proficiency in food handling techniques (ServSafe Manager required, HACCP desired)
- Familiarity with restaurant operations
