Overview
The Field Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects by acting as a liaison between the field team and project management. Duties
- Coordinate daily field operations and ensure adherence to project schedules.
- Assist in the preparation and management of project documentation, including blueprints and estimates.
- Utilize software tools for project tracking and reporting.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that arise.
- Collaborate with project managers to develop project schedules .
- Facilitate communication between subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Maintain organized records of project activities, including time management logs and material usage.
Skills
- Metal Building Knowledge – preferred but not required
- Hands on construction skills required
- Proficiency in construction management software is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading .
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders in a construction environment.
- Knowledge of project management principles to support successful project delivery.
